Cisco CCNA Assesment test...
We believe that the only way for you to prove you know what you know is to show it.
At the end of every one of our Cisco CCNA class we put you through a comprehensive 5 hour lab assesment so that you may be able to gauge your skill and knowledge level. When you pass (80% pass mark) we will as Commsupport act as references on your C.V, because if you can pass our LabRat practical lab then as far as we are concerned you are the dogs!
....and prove that you know your stuff, work with us!
UB 40 once sang about a rats in the kitchen. Rats in the kitchen are no good to us they'll eat all the cornflakes, so we herded them into the classroom to make them work with us as assistants
We are always looking for fresh LabRats to work with us in the classroom so that they can gain experience helping out other aspiring CCNA students with technical questions, fault finding and general questions.
How do you become a LabRat for Commsupport Networks?, well you can either take the LabRat practical exam or alternatively once you have completed your CCNA with Commsupport our instructors will have the discretion to consider whether you are suitable to be a LabRat for us.
During the course our instructors continuously assess your competence to determine if you are of sufficient Rattiness. To make the LabRat grade we are looking for people who can think on their feet, good communication skills, love problem solving and have outgoing personalities.
As a LabRat working in the classroom you will gain valuable skills such a fault diagnosis and resolution, developing the sort of communication skills required on the job a as network engineer when discussing problems with customers either over the phone or face to face, all in all you get to put that valuable experience down on your C.V and we will also act as reference for you when looking for work.
This lab is also available to anyone that wishes to pit their knowledge and skills againest what we can only describe as a "mini CCIE", if you pass you will be awarded "LABRAT" status with a number that you can put on your C.V and direct potential employers to us so that they validate that you do know your stuff. This is the first step to ensuring that you truly possess what it takes to make it as a network engineer.
LABRAT is a work experience placement and is on a voluntary basis only, minimum duration is one week, maximum is however long you want to be a LABRAT for.
Everyone one of our LabRats has gone onto find full time employment in I.T / Networking after having spent time working with us in the classroom
